Moonlight & Martinis: Mid-Century Modern Twilight Tour and Party
Spend the evening visiting three of Austin's premier residences, featuring one with an authentic Bomb Shelter. Cap off your night at a Vegas style cocktail party in a setting overlooking the spectacular skyline of Austin. Swoon to Rat Pack Style Tribute Entertainment by The Lucky Strikes. Try your luck at casino tables. Relish Fifties Gourmet Fare and Signature Vegas cocktails. Break out your hippest threads a la Dean Martin & Audrey Hepburn and swing in style. "When Mid-Century Modern Came to Austin" Lecture
We are pleased to present Dr. Riley Triggs from the University of Texas School of Archtitecture as the featured speaker at this lecture on the major styles, distinquishing features, and prominent architects of Mid-Century Modern Architecture. Reception with appetizers and wine will begin the event. Tuesday, May 13, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

"20th Century Design" Lecture
We are pleased to present Dwayne Jones from Galveston, Texas and Chris Thurman of Sputnik Modern of Dallas as the featured speakers at this lecture on the evolution of styles leading to Mid-Century Modern design and prominent designers of interiors and furnishings. Reception with appetizers and wine will begin the event. Thursday, May 15, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. 512 Rio Grande, Use Street Parking, $15 per person
How the Tour Works
The tours will be self-driving tours. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at any featured home the day of the tour. The names of guests who bought advanced tickets will be held at Will Call at each featured house. Ticket purchasers will be given a pass to enter all the homes. The houses may be visited in any order. Please use free street parking found throughout the neighborhoods.
All sales f nal on all events, no refunds will be issued. Event will be held rain or shine.
Please, no strollers, photography, high heels, or smoking inside the homes.
